1. Naruto:

Oh my god. The more they go back and modify flashbacks and insert conversations that didn't happen and uncover suppressed memories, THE MORE PISSED OFF I GET. AUGH. So now Sasuke remembers Itachi CRYING? Please. And this missing conversation between Naruto and Itachi is retarded. Just. Laaame. I don't know. The whole switch thing with Itachi annoys me anyway, because what the hell. Like Sasuke didn't just waste half his life tracking down Itachi for APPARENTLY NO REASON. And now he finds out that Itachi was trying to protect Konoha, but he has to go and be a complete bitch and do the OPPOSITE thing and attack Konoha because they were trying to get rid of his clan. :||| LAKJSDHAKJSD. I'm caught between feeling bad for Sasuke because he's been through enough crap and everything he knew was practically a lie, and wanting to smack him upside the head for being an idiot. Because now he's going to go attack the village, which will probably lead to him fighting Naruto, which, ACCORDING TO THIS CHAPTER, was foreshadowed by Itachi even though it wasn't foreshadowed at all because WE ARE ONLY FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS CONVERSATION NOW.

OMFG THIS SERIES.

I couldn't argue whether the twist with Itachi was clever or not, because I haven't even read half the manga and therefore couldn't tell you if there were any signs that it was coming (I say there aren't, BUT THAT'S JUST ME) and didn't really invest ANY time into the anime and basically just don't care much about this series at all - but I'm going to stick with thinking it's stupid. And for all I complain about it, I'm gonna keep reading the manga anyway to see where it goes. :|



2. One Piece:

LAKSHDKLAJSHDKLJAHSDKJAHSDKJAHSDASDKJAH!!!!!!!!! HACCHIIIIIIII NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;____________________; Oh man. I love him so much. I was actually tearing up when he was all like: "I just wanted to make things up to Nami!" alksjhfasdfaklsjd. And Luffy. OH MY GOD. So glad he punched that guy, even though now all sorts of shit is going to go down. And yaaaay, Zoro is back with everyone again. So now I can stop worrying that he wandered off on his own without knowing where their ship was, hahaha.

I NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ACE, THOUGH. WHEN HIS EXECUTION DATE IS AND WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH THAT AND ALKSJDHASD WHITEBEARD IS SO GOING TO FLIP HIS SHIT AND AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SO MUCH GOING ON RIGHT NOW. *________* All hell's about to break loose, man. It's going to be AWESOME.

It's one thing for Sasuke to forget and remember because he was traumatized, but the conversation with Itachi and Naruto... come on. That wasn't necessary. That could have been put in when it actually HAPPENED but then it would have gone against Itachi's character at the time and Kishimoto wouldn't have wanted there to be hints of his super plot twist of doom so he probably went, "Well, I'm going to go nuts with the flashbacks a hundred chapters from now so let's put that in THEN." Wtffff. That isn't a good way to do things!! Who approved that idea?!

Hacchi will be okay. I hope. Man, this arc is kind of depressing and stuff, what with the slavery and the racism and all the stuff that you barely even got hints of before. It's interesting but also... sad. But it's still One Piece! So of course I love it. *_*

I know that's plausible like...in real life stuff. But with this, it just feels like Kishimoto is all: "Hmm, have to make this seem like it didn't just come out of nowhere... OH I KNOW. I'll add new FLASHBACKS, to prove there really WAS evidence even though at the time people were reading it they couldn't have had the slightest idea!" But you're right, I'll give him that one. It COULD be realistic. WTF INDEED TO THE REST, THOUGH.

He will, yeah. Coz that guy was all talking about how he would get to 'keep the octopus' or whatever, so he wasn't shot to be killed. BUT STILL. DDD: This arc IS sad! Oda's just kind of throwing all this stuff at us that we haven't heard of before, but I'm really enjoying it. And it's making me all ALSKJHDLAKJSDHKAJS to find out what happens next!

I'm trying really hard not to read the part about One Piece...

NARUTO. You know, I was talking about this to someone else, but something I'm noticing is Kishimoto seems to keep pulling plot from his ass and splattering it onto the pages. Naruto has some new power? Wtf? And Itachi CRYING. I just...I dunno. I honestly don't care about this series nearly as much as I used to, but...it's kind of like...starting to feel a bit like...TOO convenient. Do you know what I mean?

Though I do like Sasuke's new outfit.

Ahahahaha, I was in chat when Steph was talking about that. Itachi crying really, REALLY annoyed me. I realize Sasuke was traumatized by that what happened and all, but it's not like he was really shoving those memories aside, in fact he was pretty adamant about NOT forgetting them because he was so gung-ho on beating his brother in the first place. So now it's like: "OH-HO THAT'S RIGHT, THERE'S THIS REALLY IMPORTANT PART THAT I FORGOT THAT I'M CONVENIENTLY GOING TO REMEMBER NOW!" So yes. CONVENIENT. I completely agree with you. UGH.

I don't think I was paying attention at that point. But yeah...I mean, I feel for Sasuke but the way the story is told is becoming kind of random. It's fine, but...not my preference in story-telling.

I'm kind of the same, because my first reaction is to want to feel for Sasuke, too! I mean, I guess I can understand why he'd want to attack Konoha after hearing the full story from Tobi, but like...seeing as how that's THE VERY THING Itachi was trying to PREVENT when he killed his clan in the first place, it's just this freaking huge slap in the face to him. And the story-telling is craptastic - anyone can change someone else's past by throwing in new sparkly flashbacks, it's basically just a cheap way to make all the loose ends disappear. :|

Yeah...it's a little backwards. I was kind of "...haha, are you kidding me" when I saw the flashback. It felt like a way to fill a plot hole, instead of something that was built up to. I don't mean to complain, but it's kind of...funny, I guess? Ehhh.

I haven't read the new OP chapter yet so I can't respond to that part of your entry yet but I agree with you around Naruto. It all just seems really asstastic and reminds me of puke on a piece of paper. I mean, Sasuke isn't going to distinctly remember something to the point of wanting to KILL someone and actually doing it only to suddenly out of nowhere remember "how it actually happened".

And wtf on suddenly being called TEAM EAGLE and going to kill Konoha? It's so stupid. I haven't read the new Naruto chapter either though but I'm still reeling on the LAST one.

It's ALL crap. Throwing in new flashbacks of scenes that we've ALREADY HAD FLASHBACKS OF is such a lame way to write a twist. Because it's not something you can go "Ooohhh, that's kind of cool!" at because there was NOTHING even hinting that this might happen. It's like we're reading his rough draft or something and he's still throwing in edits. ARRRGGGHHHH.

I hated how he was like: "Those memories that I tried so hard to forget." Except he DIDN'T. He was like: "I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT NIGHT!!!: I mean, I know it's different when something like that actually happens but aslkdjalsgk I don't know. You'd think if he were so obsessed with that particular event, he wouldn't be like: "Oh yeah! I forgot to think about this whole part while I was thirsting for revenge!!"
