PROPHECY!!!
Aug. 13th, 2007 05:08 amH'okay, so. Here's the earth. Now that I am FINALLY home again for more than one day, I can update!! Yeah, I took off to Las Vegas the day after I dropped Goldie off at the airport last week so that I could catch the end of my family's vacation, and I just got back on Saturday. Oh my god, I am so wiped out. @_@ HAHAHAHA, but good times, man. Good times.
So Prophecy was awesome!! We got in super early so I got to meet![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
illuminations on Tuesday. Then the rest of the crew started showing up on Wednesday, ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
bouncy among them!!! Oh man, they are both SO cute, you guys. They are tiny and adorable and I could step on them because I'm a giant compared to them. I even gave Ciaran a piggy-back ride in the last five minutes of the trip, haha!
marksykins, mousapelli, tehlils, longleggedgit, cmere, and swtjemz also all showed and ALSKJHDLKJSDHLFD OMFG IT WAS SO GREAT TO BE ABLE TO SEE PEOPLE FROM LUMOS AGAIN!!! Marks and Mousapi I got to hang out with in NYC and Lils at Otakon, but I hadn't seen Linds, Beth, or Jemz in over a YEEEEAAAAR and I had so much freaking fun with them throughout the whole convention. ljahsldkjf. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! I STILL MISS YOU!!!!
So Thursday was the day of the Wizard Rock Concert which...I already posted about. But it was awesome. Yes. SO GOOD. OH MAN. *_____________* But I'll refrain from spazzing TOO much about it again, ahaha. Friday was the start of the actual convention and once again I didn't really go to that many panels. >.> I also missed the H/D dinner because I was too busy getting FREE FANART DOWN IN THE FANARTISTS' ROOM. Heee.
On Saturdayreposoir came up and I got to hang out with her pretty much all day! Which was really quite cool because we watched Dream Live 4th AGAIN** and got to totally spazz over that. And she brought all this great Tenimyu stuff with her and stickers and pictures and THERE WAS SO MUCH RIKKAI LOVE and oh man. Awesome stuff. Then we went back to the art room again and you guys. This was a Harry Potter convention. But one of the artists there was sort of a PoT fan and SHE DREW ALLISON NIOU/YAGYUU-COSPLAYING-HARRY-POTTER ART. HAHAHAHAHAHA!! It was so, so cute. *__* And I got more H/D art, wheee. Which I will scan and share with you all later.
Annnnd I still need to send Allison some of the Rikkai art that I have. Gah. WILL DO THAT TOMORROW!!
Sunday was the last day of the con. ;_______; Which was sad and depressing, as always. And my write-up is complete crap and doesn't do the whole thing justice, ahaha, BUT I HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME. It was seriously amazing getting to see people again and meet other people for the first time and alsjdflajsdhf. I love you guys.
Sunday was also the day that Goldie and I turned an 8-hour drive into a 12.5-HOUR DRIVE. It took us FIVE HOURS to get across the border because of all the stupid traffic when it should have taken us 1.5 hours at MOST.
GAWD.
Freaking Canada.
But we still managed to make it an awesome trip. In the torrential downpour and creepy fog. We stopped at Sheetz, so that made everything better. :DDD
So now I'm home and trying to get back into the swing of things again after my almost month-long vacation with fandom people, haha. And I still need to write my sign-up thing forsanta_smex. alksjdhf. *adds to the to-do list* And that's pretty much it! YAY!
